Last month, I did a dinner event at the American History Museum. They were dining under the flag, hence the red, white and blue color scheme and I had one problem: the space was cavernous, but the group was small (80 people max). So how do you make a handful of people feel comfortable in a huge space? Lighting! Of course. There are times when I think lighting can be overused, but I can’t ignore its power to transform.
See more (big and beautiful) images on the photographer’s blog. I asked Dotun to shoot the setup for me, because he is very attentive to details and I knew I would be happy to the final product.
