'Til Death Do Us Part

Court TV premiered a new show this past Monday, 'Til Death Do Us Part. It's hosted by John Waters. You remember him from Hairspray don't you? if not, you will remember the mustache. Anyhow, it's their first original scripted series featuring dramatizations of true stories of doomed marriages that end with one spouse murdering the other. In a press release about the series, Waters said something that made my hair stand on edge. he said:

"Nobody thinks on their wedding day that they are going to murder each other. But right before you get married, you should look at the person, and if there's one thing that gets on your nerves, think about how bad it will be in 10 years."

Waters said this in jest of course, but it's a darn good reminder to engaged couples to seek pre-marital counseling. Whether through a religious or secular organization. Even if all you do is to sign up for the lessons on or read Psychology Today. Do it now! because as Waters also said: "DNA ruins everything." You'll never get away with murder.
